Dan River Baptist Church is a participating member of the Southern Baptist Convention, The Baptist General Association of Virginia, and the Dan River Baptist Association. Through these organizations Dan River Baptist Church is involved in Missions here in Halifax County and around the globe.
Dan River was organized in 1802 on a site near our church’s current location. Over the years Dan River has developed into a church for all generations.
Many special events are offered throughout the year. These events include efforts to minister to the needs of our children, youth, families, and senior adults. We offer numerous opportunities for members to use their gifts in such areas as worship, missions, and community ministries.
