AT WHAT AGE CAN MY CHILD ATTEND? Children attending must reach the age of the program they are enrolled in by September 30 of that school year. (i.e. If a child is entering the three-year-old program, he must be 3 by September 30 of that school year.
HOW EARLY CAN MY CHILD GET TO SCHOOL?Preschool starts at 9:00 a.m. Children may arrive as early as 7:30 a.m. each morning.
HOW LATE CAN A CHILD BE PICKED UP?Children should be picked up at 12:00 pick-up for Preschool; 5:30 for full day.
WHAT IS YOUR INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY?Follow Halifax County Public Schools...closed if HCPS is closed; one hour late regular time; 2 hours late open at 10:30. No early arrivals on days with delays.
WHAT KIND OF HOLIDAY SCHEDULE DO YOU FOLLOW? Dan River W.E.E School follows the holiday schedule of the Halifax County Public Schools.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO REGISTER MY CHILD?Parents must fill out the registration forms provided by the school as well as provide a copy of the child's birth certificate, immunization record, and health information. A $60.00 non-refundable registration fee is also required.
